The Richland Creek Run & Walk X will carry participants along a certified five-mile course through sections of the Richland Creek Greenway and Sylvan Park on Saturday, April 2, 2016. Net proceeds from this event benefit Greenways for Nashville, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the creation, protection, preservation, and promotion of Nashville greenways.
The Run will begin at 8 a.m. outside of the Cohn Adult Learning Center, 4805 Park Avenue, and wind through parts of Sylvan Park before heading onto the Richland Creek Greenway and finishing back at Cohn. The Walk will begin at 8:05 a.m. at the same location and follow the same course. Dogs and strollers are permitted during the race.
The Kids’ Race will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the same location. The Kids’ Race will follow 48th Avenue to Wyoming and return to Cohn and will cover a total of 0.75 miles.
THE ULTIMATE TEAM CHALLENGE - Get your 5 closest friends or co-workers together and participate in the Ultimate Team Challenge. Teams will be competing for bragging rights and cool prizes! Atleast 5 team members are required to particpate, no maximum. Team creation fee is $50. Teams will be promoted on event website, and on social media.
